Started on main frame computers in 1978 while in the Air Force, built my first computer in 1988 and have been addicted to all things computer since!
Picked up programming skills starting in 1982. Basic, DbaseI, DbaseII, DbaseIII, DbaseIV, Condor, Foxbase, Autohotkey, Html, Php, etc. Wrote a complete Pawn shop software application and converted the Base Hospital medical tracking software from Condor to Dbase among other programming challenges.
Over the years have had opportunities to work on Windows, Linux, Mac & Unix systems plus other lesser systems, dedicated word processors, etc.
Because of my past coding experiences I was naturally drawn to web development and it has been an easy transition to make.
During my last Air Force assignment I started the Base Small Computer Workcenter at F.E. Warren AFB and was one of the first few started Air Force wide. I was responsible for every small computer on the Base. Whew, what a task come inventory time.
I have an A.A. degree in Computers and a B.A. in Sociology and am A+ certified
